**Job Title:** Germany and CGME Reporting Lead, Director **Business:** Finance **Division:** Controller **Officer Title:** Director **C-Grade:** C15 **Location:** Frankfurt **Legal Entity** : CGME **Job Purpose/Overview:** This position resides in the Finance area which services German entities including CGME, CEP Germany, Citibank NA Frankfurt Branch. Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG (CGME) has been set up as the Citigroup strategic solution for the Brexit related changes for the broker dealer chain. CGME has received its CRR Credit Institution license in Oct-2022 resulting in additional regulatory reporting requirements and heightened regulatory scrutiny. CGME is now part of Single Supervisory Mechanism and as a result jointly supervised by ECB and German regulators **.** The Finance team in Germany consist of 34 staff, supported by teams based in the Budapest and Warsaw Solution Centres. **Key Responsibilities:** Primary responsibility for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting activities for Germany, covering all legal entities domiciled in the country. + Lead the Statutory, Financial and Regulatory Reporting team within Germany Controllers Finance team utilizing synergies with Citi Solution Centre teams in Budapest and Warsaw, leveraging and encouraging diverse perspectives and individuals + Ensure timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting for all entities domiciled in Germany. + Maintain strong control, governance and ensure accurate implementation of local regulatory and statutory reporting requirements for complex fast growing entities including risk taking books and advanced models’ application. + Oversight over the reporting process for all internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, local and management. + Main contact for questions arising from regulators (ECB, Bundesbank & BaFin) around reporting related to both the Broker-dealer the Bank Chain Entities, work with external and internal auditors. + Close cooperation with other teams in Citi to maintain and improve country oversight on outsourced production activities. + Cooperate with Capital Planning, Recovery & Resolution Planning, Treasury, Tax and Planning & Analysis teams to deliver excellence in financial reporting. + Support CFO/Controller and Management Board with timely analysis and deliverables to support Franchise priorities. + Drive efficiency, automation, and right-placements of reporting activities. + Lead Change, proactively develop solutions to ensure efficient use of Citi’s financial resources. **Development Value:** + An in-depth understanding of the key end-to-end finance processes across functions, key risks, and controls. + An in-depth understanding of Legal Entity Management, US Reporting and Local Regulatory Reporting in a dynamic, fast growing and highly regulated entity. + Ability to influence, lead, innovate and drive change. + Ability to directly work with regulators, auditors, and senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. **Experience/Knowledge:** + A Strong Finance professional with experience in Finance leadership role in highly regulated entity. + Proven leadership skills, preferably in a similar complex organization + Successful track record in executing complex projects and regulatory deliverables and in-depth knowledge of key regulations impacting Finance and regulatory reporting. + Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as external auditors. + Exceptionally good analytical and technical skills + Fluent in English in both speech and writing, fluency in German is an advantage. + Understanding of US and local accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements. **Skills:** + A strong leader with ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with a wide range of people across different functions and levels of seniority.
