procedures and reprocessing per regulatory standards Prepares procedure rooms for use and cleans the rooms and equipment after useAssists with maintaining an efficient technical operation in the Endoscopy Unit with the goal of optimal patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures Demonstrates appropriate clinical practice and promotes patient advocacyThis role performs in a high activity work environment with multiple priorities and necessitates flexibility in schedulingThis is an entry level position with an expectation that colleagues will be promoted into the GI departmental required certification within two years of hire or transfer dateLanguage SkillsMust be able to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate information in Prevention principlesAbility to work in a fast paced environment with exposure to all patient elements ie bloodborne pathogensAbility to learn knowledge and understanding of radiology safety by completing required radiation safety educationDemonstrated ability to identify unsafe practices and partner with team to correct improper wearing of lead dosimeters damaged lead broken equipment Shares knowledge that is relevant and valuable with others to support safe practicesBasic computer skills in order to enterretrieve data openingreading email basic internet useAbility to use skillful communication with members of the healthcare delivery team and with patients Uses communication skills to foster a healthy work environment and facilitate positive patient outcomes and
