Job Summary

Schedule: Part-Time 30hrs; Day Shift, Monday-Friday; 8 and 10 hour days with variable start times starting at 6:30am-9am

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredSurgical Technician Certification required- ARC/STSAAccredited Surgical Technology ProgramNBSTSA – Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical AssistingCurrent experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery setting is requiredAbility to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standardsKnowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipmentKnowledge of septic and aseptic technique and be conscious of both at all timesKnowledge of care and safe handling of endoscopes -Demonstrate awareness of/sensitivity to patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs and age-specific needs
