We are seeking Merchandisers for the Blackhawk Network team to service multiple stores in the following assigned market:
Route: Oshawa, ON (including: Ajax, Bowmanville, Courtice, Port Perry, and Uxbridge)
The primary focus of this position is merchandising gift card product and various product lines in multiple retailers nationwide. We pack out product, set to plan-o-gram, report out-of-stock, place shelf tags, conduct resets and install new fixtures. We build relationships with Retail Management and provide customer’s shopping guidance of our product lines we merchandise.
Responsibilities: Complete all assigned projects within designated territoryParticipate in weekly conference callsComplete all call report questions and take pictures with your smartphone or tabletBuild and develop strong relationships/partnerships with retail store management at each accountComplete all types of merchandising activitiesInstalls (set and build)Resets (read and understand Plan-o-grams)New item Cut-insSignage PlacementConduct out-of-stock reports, inventories and process returnsAuditsCover stores outside of designated territory on as needed basis and/or vacation coverageAbility to use web portal reporting systems from wireless tablet/phone Qualifications: Merchandising and/or retail experience.Hours can vary during peak times of year between 30-35 hours a weekAble to travel 50-80 kilometers radius around home marketExperience with computers, smart phones, iPads, etc.Must own home computer and have internet accessExcellent communication skillsAbility to be flexible and work in fast-pace environmentStrong work ethic, be pro-active and ability to overcome obstaclesIf driving, must have valid license, insurance and excellent driving recordSuccessful completion of driving record and criminal background checks
Physical Demands

Benefits:Hourly Rate Range: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including drive time equal to in-store hourly rates, a $350 monthly car allowance, a monthly app stipend, annual and merit pay increases, and other incentives.
