Provides competent customer service to patients, guests, visitors, and hospital employees at all times with courteous and efficient attitude. Maintains neat, clean, and organized displays of merchandise. Provides immediate and timely feedback to Gift Shop Supervisor in relation to all activities or issues in daily operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Demonstrates friendly and courteous customer service to all those who visit the gift shopProperly handles all sales transactions and ensure all inventory is accounted forEnsures all daily reports and POS functions are handled and closed appropriately.Communicates with Supervisor with regards to special request or with ideas of items that may be good sellersDemonstrates flexibility and is open minded to new and inventory items.Assists in the implementation of all new items and/or sales/promotions.Maintains Displays; keeps current with Holiday ActivitiesEnsure proper items are available and move dead inventory appropriately.Be flexible and willing to work both - Main and South - Campus as needed to ensure proper staffingAdheres to all Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.

Additional experience: Retail, Convenience Store, or Guest Services Experience a plus.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
