Presbyterian Homes & Services - GracePointe Crossing is seeking a Gift Shop Concierge.  The Gift Shop Concierge ensures high quality service for the gift shop.  The Gift Shop is a vital amenity of the campus, which provides a service to residents, family members, staff, and the general public.  The Gift Shop Concierge ensures excellent service and creative program that brings convenience and benefit to the residents.

Salary:  $15.77 - $18.48 / hour

Responsibilities

Ensure that service will be delivered in a professional, customer-friendly manner by assuming responsibility for opening and closing the shop, purchasing products, maintaining inventory, organizing merchandising, managing seasonal displays, and organizing and maintaining a storage system.
• Operate the point-of-sale system within the shop so that residents may use the shop in a “cashless” manner and have confidence that their purchases will be properly charged to their monthly invoice.
• Ensure that the shop is ready for operation and closed according to established procedures, including product display and equipment operation.

Qualifications A minimum of high school education or equivalent.Previous experience in retail management is desirable. Must possess patience, tact, positive attitude, enthusiasm as well as willingness to work as a team player.Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.Demonstrated computer proficiency and experience in various programs including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher and Word is desired.Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
