Performs special detailed functions and duties by utilizing knowledge of office systems, policy and procedures, hospital regulations and inter-departmental functions. Other responsibilities include achieving/exceeding daily sales goals, daily operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory, accounting functions, unpacking and pricing merchandise, merchandising the store and reordering. Responsible for orientations, interviews, and placement of prospective staff/volunteers in the gift shop. Builds relationships with other departments and manages and maintains budgets for program. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Oversees strategic planning and execution of gift shop functions. · Performs all buying for the gift shop · Performs inventory every year · Maintains accurate and current records and statistics per hospital guidelines. · Oversees the onboarding, training, monitoring, and retention of staff and volunteers. · Conducts annual performance reviews for staff/volunteers. · Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software · Effective leadership, problem solving and decision-making skills · Ability to communicate effectively to an audience and volunteer team · Knowledge and skills in understanding each volunteers job requirement · Outstanding customer service skills and ability to embrace AdventHealth values · Solution oriented, problem solving skills · Ability to work with executive level leadership This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
