The Lead Gift Shop Team Member is responsible and accountable for: the successful operation of the Gift Shop; ensuring the guests of the gift shop have an enjoyable experience during their visit to Live! CLEAN: Must make the property shine and look impeccable while maintaining a neat CLEAN and crisp personal appearance.
SAFE: Must make guests feel SAFE and comfortable through creating a worry free, carefree experience.
FAST: Provide FAST and efficient service with accuracy. Meet service time requirements and anticipate guest needs.
FRIENDLY: Greet each guest with FRIENDLY welcomes, making eye contact and smiling. Use H.E.A.R.T. steps to ease guest concerns. Say thank you to departing guests.
FUN: Work passionately as a team to create a FUN experience both for everyone who works and plays here.
Where You Will Make An Impact:
Assist with the developing and training Team Members to ensure excellent Customer Service and Product KnowledgeContinually giving feedback on Team Members on their individual development and completing their review process in a timely mannerCompleting schedules two weeks prior and ensure the department stays within their budgetSetting the example for Team MembersUnderstanding must always be ready to step up in the absence of Team MemberManages and maintains for the daily operations of the gift shopEvaluating and purchasing gift shop merchandise and maintaining inventoryMaintain inventory to ensure minimum shrinkageWorks with sales, marketing and corporate on promotional needsReview gift shop activities with the Retail Manager as necessaryMeet with department directors and managers as necessaryParticipate in buying processes and events as deemed appropriate by managerOther duties as assigned. QualificationsJob Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)
Ability to read, speak clearly, and listen. Exceptional communication skills.Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment. Able to complete reports.Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and resultsAbility to accept constructive criticism and correct faults and issues as directed and or warranted. Knowledge of company policy procedures.Ability to read basic instructions and perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to also solve complex problems.Knowledge of good customer service techniquesEducational Requirements
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.Retail customer service training would be a plusAt least One (1) – Three (3) years’ experience in retail supervisory processes and personnel. Supervisory or team leadership experience a plus.Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Physical Requirements
