Giftshop Clerk, Per Diem

The Gift Shop Clerk reports directly to the Gift Shop Manager, or the Assistant Gift Shop Manager in she/he’s absence, who in turn reports directly to the WHA Chairman of the Gift Shop, for help, support and resolution of any problem in the Gift Shop with personnel, volunteers or corporate relations with CMMC/CMHC. The Gift Shop Chairman reports directly to the WHA President and WHA Board, making them aware of any important issues in the Gift Shop. Should the Gift Shop Manager/Assistant Manager or the Gift Shop Chairman feel that she/he needs further support or is unable to perform their duties fully she/he, should take their concern directly to the WHA Board and President, where all needs will be addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

Language Skills: Strong written and verbal skills. Additional languages a plus

Duties:
Qualified candidate should have excellent customer service skills, pricing inventory, excellent computer skills. Previous experience in a Gift Shop preferred. Floral designing experience is a plus. Assist customers and staff when needed. Operate and reconcile cash register. Help with checking orders to be sure all orders are complete, unpack, price and organize stock. Be sure all shelves and work areas are clean, neat and free of any debris.
