The Fund Development Student Worker will work in partnership with the Chief of Strategy and Transformation to gain experience and understanding of nonprofit fundraising and its role in Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee. This student worker position combines research and story telling with administrative tasks to grow GSMIDTN's impact.

Research grant opportunities and create case for support for various Girl Scout programs and applicable funding opportunities.Work with other GSMIDTN departments teams to construct impact stories for donor communications.Complete various administrative tasks that ensure accurate and updated data is collected and properly stored.Work with Chief of Strategy and Transformation to establish and execute fundraising strategies including grant research, proposal development, direct mail campaigns, and special events.Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising and donor events.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may sit, stand, or drive for prolonged periods of time. The employee may lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
