About the Opportunity 

We are seeking an outstanding GIS Analyst to join our progressive Geospatial team.  

You will be responsible for analysing geographical data and developing GIS applications to support our organisation's objectives and to solve problems for our customers. This role requires a blend of technical GIS skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication. Key responsibilities will be\: 

Collect, manage and analyse geospatial data from a variety of sources. Get creative with maps, infographics and dashboards for reports and presentations. Collaborate with team members to integrate GIS with other data sources and apps. Enable informed decision making with advanced data analytics. Maintain GIS databases to high standards of accuracy and integrity. Stay updated with the latest GIS technology and industry trends.  *

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field. Demonstrable proficiency in GIS software, typically ESRI product suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with elevated attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, building strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Appetite to develop innovative solutions that inspire both clients and colleagues.   Driven and motivated to succeed, with a high level of personal accountability. Programming languages e.g. SQL, Python or JavaScript. Experience with task automation e.g. FME, Microsoft Power Automate. Designing and authoring web applications in AGOL or ArcGIS Portal. Experience with survey, geomatics and imagery data.
