Essential skills and experience:
BA/BS in Environmental Engineering/Science, Geography, GIS, Geology, Landscape Architecture, computer science or other relevant field, or 4+ years of direct, relevant experienceBasic knowledge and proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS ProBasic knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DSolid understanding of cartographic principlesWell-developed analytical and problem-solving abilitiesStrong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with a high level of accuracyStrong personal computing skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and in a collaborative team environmentAbility to communicate and interact effectively with internal clients, group members, management and external clientsMust be fully bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, and write)
Valued, but not required experience:
Basic understanding of power delivery engineering processes such as transmission line sitingPrior experience working in a production environment, meeting established production and accuracy goals, with the ability to maintain focus on quality of details.The ability to read engineering plansKnowledge of programming languages such as Python or C++Proficiency in Microstation and GlobalmapperAbility to create 3D renderings
