Overview TRC is looking for an experienced GIS Solution Engineer - Integration to join its delivery team and support the development and execution of industry leading solutions for some of North America’s largest utilities customers. In this role you will work directly with our customers, our technical teams, and industry partners to position for, respond to and deliver solutions. Responsibilities Engages stakeholders and clients to deliver strategic guidance on GIS technology. Serves as a mentor to junior staff on projects and/or within technical or industry areas. Plans, documents, manages, and coordinates delivery of tasks for complex projects. Provides expertise in GIS software and technology to stakeholders and clients. Collaborates with internal project leads and/or project managers on project requirements and interdependencies. Ensures data quality and accuracy for task deliverables. Reinforces recognition of TRC company values for team members on assigned project. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications 8+ years related experience in the GIS industry. Proficiency with Esri Software: Extensive experience with Esri's ArcGIS platform, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and Esri services-based architecture. GIS Data Management: Strong skills in managing and manipulating spatial data, including data conversion, data quality assurance, and database management. Integration and Interoperability: Experience with integrating GIS with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, asset management systems) using APIs, web services, and middleware. Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for automating GIS workflows and processes. Utilities Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the utilities sector, including electric, gas, water, and telecommunications, and familiarity with industry-specific data models and standards including the Esri UN. Project Leadership: Experience in leading GIS project tasks, including planning, execution, and monitoring, as well as managing project teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS integration and data interoperability. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Software Development: Familiarity with software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git), and experience with development frameworks and tools. Strong industry perspective in electric transmission and distribution, water, or gas. Ability to translate business requirements into proposed technical solutions. Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills with the ability to proactively engage customers and guide them through clear, concise communication techniques. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Ability to travel up to 50%. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors. Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
