NRM Data Support : Contractor shall provide GIS, database, and IT support for current state, anticipated growth, and improvements for Natural Resource Management projects on the Pacific Gas and Electric contract, as directed by ACRT and or a PG&E Work Supervisor.
Tasks shall include, but not be limited to, the following types of activities:
Provide development support of data collection and repositories on web-based and PG&E platforms.Provide support for data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC from web-based and PG&E platforms.Provide support for automation of data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC, where applicable.Provide support for defined and ad-hoc data requests.Provide front-end development support of data dashboards and on web-based and PG&E platforms.Provide continued support of and improvements to data processing, data analysis, data metrics, data QC, data collection, and other GIS support, as applicable.Provide Contractor GIS to train NRM program field personnel for improved workflows and processes.Provide support for data backup processes.Duties/Responsibilities:
GIS Specialist shall deliver the following deliverables in GIS and electronic formats in accordance with GIS and Land Management standards.
Provide geospatial and tabular records in web-based and PG&E platforms (i.e. - PG&E’s ArcSDE environment), within 1 to 7 business days upon request.Provide QA/QC reports to appropriate teams and programs on a weekly and monthly basisProvide back-ups of necessary program data on a daily and weekly basis.Provide web-based dashboards and reporting tools, within 1 to 7 business days upon requestProvide geospatial and tabular files and data/map products internally/externally, within 1 to 7 business days upon requestProvide urgent ad-hoc data and analytic deliverables, within 1 to 7 business days upon requestProvide data processing and analytical models, within 1 to 7 business days upon requestProvide ongoing process and procedure development and documentation, within 1 to 7 business days upon requestProvide presentation and training materials as requestedProvide programmatic analytics and data pulls from various data sources within and outside of PG&E ( - USFS data layers, weather models etc.), within 1 to 7 business days upon requestQualifications:
2 or 4 year degree in Geographic Informational Systems, or related field AND at least 1 years’ experience performing GIS analysis or field work OR 4 years work experience in a GIS analysis related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Office [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook] or similar software suitePossess a valid driver’s licenseMinimum age of 21Required Skills:

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Pacific salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to customer contact terms, location, experience, and performance.
