Join BevMo as a GL Accountant where you will maintain a best-in-class accounting function core to BevMo’s success. You will support the Accounting team with daily responsibilities, assigned month-end close tasks and strengthening the infrastructure for a generation-defining brand. As part of the Finance team, you will report to the Senior GL Accountant and partner with teams across the organization. We recognize that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply.ResponsibilitiesWork directly under a GL Senior Accountant assisting them in daily, weekly and monthly tasksParticipate in monthly, quarterly and annual close processesAssist in Indirect Expense Process and upload Third party platform outputs to Great Plains (COUPA, FEXA, Pair AI, etc.) Prepare journal entries and supporting documentationPrepare account reconciliations, flux explanations and ad hoc analysisDemonstrate a strong knowledge of prepaid transactions and accrual accountingResponsible for managing Scan Invoice process and Vendor Recall process.  Assist with Store Leasing activities including monthly rent and CAM payments and verify any rent escalations, CAM changes and CAM reconciliations.Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting needsSupport external audit efforts.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance1-3 years’ experience in an accounting roleExperience with Great Plains ERP system - PreferredSolid knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysisHigh proficiency in Excel (formulas, vlookups and pivot tables)Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skillsAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced, Hybrid team environment.$50,000 - $85,000 a year
