Job Description
A construction company located in San Francisco is looking for a mobile Glazier Estimator. As a Commercial Glazier Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for glazing projects. Your core skills in construction estimating and cost control will be essential in ensuring competitive pricing and effective budget management. Your proficiency in tools like Bluebeam, along with strong communication skills, will enhance collaboration with our clients and vendors. You must be able to multi-task, be dependable and a self-starter, and work well under pressure. Compensation is based on experience.
ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed construction estimating for glazing projects, ensuring accurate pricing and cost control.Utilize AutoCAD and Bluebeam for project planning and design visualization.Collaborate with project management teams to review contracts and manage construction site activities.Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely completion.Identify potential issues and provide solutions to mitigate them.Essential SkillsProven experience in construction estimating, particularly in glazing projects.Understand specifications and related documents.Proficiency in Bluebeam and AutoCAD for project documentation.Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written.Additional Skills & QualificationsHardware knowledge is a plus.Experience with glazing, windows, estimation, bidding, and construction.Skills in carpentry, door installation, project management, and construction management.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The Glazier Estimator will largely be working independently, going from site to site. Gas and mileage reimbursement will be provided during the probation period, and a company vehicle will be provided afterward.

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $83200.00
