Assists with operations and customer service at Glide on the Grove Holiday Rink. Assists customers and staff as requested. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for assisting the shift manager with the completion of the daily tasks designed to ensure and maintain a safe and welcoming environment at the Glide on the Grove Holiday rink. This position is open to all interested persons, 15 years of age or older. This position works up to 19 hours per week between November and January. This position is designated as At-Will. Essential Functions Assists customers at the skate shop and on the rink. Determines the correct size of rentals and checks out customers. Monitors skaters on the rink, provides customer service, and performs related duties as assigned. Participate in janitorial duties such as keeping all areas of the facility neat, clean, and safe at all times. These duties include sweeping and mopping the rink restrooms, removing trash, and cleaning the rink surface from debris and snow. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Knowledge, Experience, And Training + Experience working with the general public Working knowledge of: + customer service techniques.
