The Global Account Director will work closely with our Italian, French, Swiss & Spanish international Sales teams to ensure commercial multi-market campaigns distributed on our Global titles are planned & managed faultlessly, and advertiser goals & revenue targets are met and exceeded.
The Global Account Director role will also be responsible for Digital campaign strategy & centralised media planning, booking & pipeline management, and maintaining an overarching/360 overview of all campaigns generated out of their 4 regions ensuring client success at all times.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working with a variety of global clients & agencies based across the 4 mentioned territories, you will successfully plan & manage multi-market Digital (and occasionally Integrated Print + Digital) campaigns, as well as nurturing relationships with global publishers who are key to our Global campaign success.
You will be responding to RFPs and creating the best multi-market media plan to meet client objectives, building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders and exceeding client performance expectations.
Additionally to working in close contact with Global Sales teams based in IT/FR/CH/ES, the role holds key relationships with the Global Syndication management team sitting within Global Client Success (who project manage & execute the Global multi-market campaigns planned by the AM team) as well as the Global Print function, which will occasionally be working hand-in-hand with the AD to plan integrated Print & Digital opportunities.
Relationship building with all the publishers in our eco-system is also crucial to guarantee positive outcome of commercial negotiations, and the unlocking of incentives/special offers to drive incremental revenue from clients sitting in the IT/ES/FR and CH regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for media strategy & multi-market campaign media planning across IT/ES/FR/CH client patches within Global Client Success Support and work collaboratively with other AMs/ADs reporting into Head of AM - Luxury markets to uphold best in class team standards for the luxury client patch Collaborate with your allocated international sales teams to ensure briefs are responded to at the best of our capabilities, as well as to improve processes and trouble-shoot campaign planning and management as needed Build long-term relationships with agencies, client, sales and global publisher contacts through regular communication including email, phone and in person meetings Proactively look for ways to enable your allocated sales patches (IT/ES/FR/CH) to add value for the agency and client, resulting in incremental revenue being driven by Global Client success Manage your own opportunity pipeline and be responsible for pacing to budget at all times across all relevant markets Be aware of relevant campaign initiatives being booked by clients in local markets and how this fits with global investments in-pitch and/or booked
ABOUT YOU
Italian language required Exceptional attention to detail – necessary for multi-market media planning Has previous experience in media/publisher/tech relatable business at mid to senior level Deep understanding of international nuances in different countries (language, culture etc) Excellent in managing multiple stakeholders Incredibly commercially aware and sales driven Strives for results and excellent customer service Confident & comfortable with clients and other external contacts Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to work quickly & effectively under pressure Collaborative attitude is essential in working across multiple markets with diverse cultures Flexible, personable attitude; ability to develop excellent professional relationships with all level of personnel Proactive and enjoys a varied role that never gets boring Ability to achieve results through influence and problem solving Self-motivated, team player
