As a Global Account Manager for BP plc, you will be responsible for driving the strategic relationship between Databricks and BP, ensuring the successful adoption and expansion of Databricks solutions within BP's global operations. You will work closely with BP's key stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges and leverage Databricks' technology to deliver impactful solutions.

The impact you will have:

Develop and execute a strategic account plan for BP plc, aligning with their business objectives and goals Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at BP, including C-level executives Identify and pursue new business opportunities within BP, expanding the footprint of Databricks solutions. Collaborate with Databricks' internal teams, including sales, solutions engineering, and customer success, and external ecosystem partners to ensure seamless delivery and support for BP Serve as the primary point of contact for BP, addressing any issues or concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Stay informed about BP's industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, and provide insights to help shape Databricks' product and service offerings Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

What we look for:

Proven experience in a global account management role, preferably within the technology or data analytics industry Strong understanding of BP's strategy to transform an international oil company into an integrated energy company, including their initiatives to leverage data and AI solutions to achieve those ends Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organisation Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans and drive revenue growth Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Willingness to travel as needed to meet with BP stakeholders and attend industry events
