Global Account Manager - AMEA
The Indium Corporation Global Account Manager (GAM) is a key position within the Sales Team Organization responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with large multinational accounts. This expert will lead our efforts in Power Electronics strongly favouring being based in Europe. Key responsibilities include sourcing new global business opportunities, implementing effective sales strategies, and interfacing with customers' senior management. The role involves the execution of action plans through regional teams, collaborating with internal departments (R&D, Inside Sales, Technical Support, Logistics, Product Management, Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.), and driving evaluation, qualification, and specification processes to maximize customer share for designated accounts. Additionally, the Europe-based GAM will assess and mitigate business risks, providing strategic insights to senior management while advancing our presence and leadership in Power Electronics markets. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES): + Direct responsibility for assigned focus accounts may require team member and/or account coordination activities in addition to account management duties as required or assigned to best serve customer or business needs + Ensure global and regional teamwork resulting in faster success + Develop strategic plans for each of the focus accounts (this will include mapping of the organizations) [ES2] + Build strong, trusting relationships with key decision makers and influencers at existing and target accounts and gain favoured advantages for the use of Indium Corporation products + Liaison between the Global Accounts Team, Regional Sales, and internal functions to coordinate and facilitate resources required to close business + Identify and capitalize on AVLs with short-term win opportunity + Identify mid-term and long-term target opportunities + Assist Global Sales with the development of business in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific + Develop a relationship database that can be shared with all sales personnel + Generate target segments, specific customer leads and competitive knowledge through market research, and integration of sales and marketing activities + Facilitate and assist with the forecasting process + Network with relevant industry players to obtain current market information and facilitate partnerships + Perform other job duties and special projects as assigned REQUIREMENTS: + Bachelor’s degree + Minimum 3 years of related industry experience + Technical aptitude + Personable individual who is a skilled communicator and negotiator + Strong organizational, management and presentation skills + Able to travel upon short notice + Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint For interested candidates, please send resume Shauna Scarrott at sscarrott@indium.com to apply.
