**A Day in the Life**
Join the Strategic Alliance team of the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Operating Unit within Medtronic, this Account Manager position will manage the Global OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Standard Company Relationships (B2B) and Agreements. The Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Operating Unit is hiring a Global OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Account Manager position within the Strategic Alliance team, supporting Standard Partner relationships (B2B) & Agreements. This position will work closely with Global Marketing, Integration Excellence, Legal, Quality, Regulatory, Customer Service, Finance and Regional Sales & Marketing Leadership to develop and grow the Acute Care & Monitoring business through the Strategic Alliance (OEM) Sales Channel. The hired person will manage/grow existing partnerships, as well as identify opportunities to develop and grow sales of ACM’s technologies that in turn drive disposable revenue for Medtronic.
This position reports to the Director of Strategic Alliance Sales and works closely with Global Marketing, Engineering, and ACM Leadership in a Home office environment, corporate office and OEM partnership offices.
The position will be ideally placed in Western Europe, in close proximity to an ACM office, international airport or near key aligned OEM partner.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:**
+ Responsible for the development, support and maintenance of Global and Regional Business Partnerships & Agreements, with identified partners
+ Drive increased revenue, share, and partnerships aligned with business priorities of the Global & regional businesses
+ Develop Sales Forecasts, based on customer demand, new launches, or sales programs
+ Own & evolve contracts, based on business needs
+ Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and with partners
+ Single point of contact for aligned partners for the ACM OU
+ Regional Alignment with MDT business partners
+ Act as a key contact for Medtronic ACM global sales and marketing leadership on OEM issues, strategies and information. This would include communication to all global regions on contract implementation, pricing requirements and market opportunities
+ Work directly with the Regions and OEMs to develop strategies that improve the partnership between MDT and the targeted OEMs
+ Support sales training and education
+ Support QBRs, Strat Planning, Regional Promotions and Regional Meetings
+ Partner with aligned Strategic Partners
+ Quarterly Business Reviews
+ Understand Partner Roadmaps to ensure Medtronic parameter availability, new integration opportunities, and expanding availability of our technology’s features
+ Ensure Medtronic parameter products are listed in all OEM catalogs (including websites) as options with the intent of ensuring equal opportunity for our products compared to our competitors
+ Assist with the tracking of OEM multi-parameter systems (installed with Nellcor/BIS/INVOS/ Microstream and future solutions) on a global basis
+ Ensuring that key features, such as SatSeconds, SPD, Perfusion Index, RR, HRV, IPI and SARA are available through the MPM
+ Train and educate OEM partner sales teams on an annual basis
+ Collaborate with OEM partners to ensure successful tradeshow promotions to highlight Medtronic ACM parameters are exhibited at key tradeshows and conferences
+ Manage sales forecasts for OEM products for financial performance tracking, manufacturing, regulatory planning and End of Life planning
+ Market Development of new parameters, technologies, features and joint programs
**Required Knowledge and Experience:**
+ Bachelor degree or equivalent required. MBA is a definite advantage
+ 5 years of medical sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, working with OEMs or ACM is a plus
+ Multi-disciplined experience including Sales, Marketing, and/or Strategic Planning preferred
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% travel, including some weekends
+ Strong operational discipline, communication skills, problem solving skills, negotiation skills and tactical project management skills are required
+ Strong English competency, oral and written
