Condé Nast Commercial Creative is seeking a Global Associate Director of Brand Marketing for Vanity Fair. Condé Nast’s brands have a passionate global audience that is unparalleled, and Vanity Fair’s global brand marketing team is charged with working closely with editorial to determine where and how Vanity Fair needs to show up in the world to drive relevance for audiences and advertisers.
This role will be tasked with driving commercial revenue, working closely with editorial, category-led creative strategists and other cross-functional partners (e.g. Video, Creative, Research & Insights, Events) to ideate, build, and socialize brand programs with both global importance and local expression, curated for the platforms and nuances of each market.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the worlds of Film, TV, Fashion and is a strategic, fast-moving marketer who recognizes the unique opportunities that Vanity Fair unlocks in the hearts and minds of our audience. Candidates should be energized by the idea of forging a new path in the media landscape and excited to tackle new creative challenges every day.
Role Responsibilities
Create marketing materials such as presentations, sell sheets & editorial calendars
Update Vanity Fair’s media kit and brand modules with current audience information and positioning
Respond to daily requests from category marketing and sales for client-specific opportunities, joining brainstorms to provide inputs / ideation with concepts that are authentic to the Vanity Fair ethos and brand voice
Participate in weekly meetings and daily interactions with global internal stakeholders to ensure editorially-led revenue requests are vetted
Support the Executive Director in strategic planning and new global and local Vanity Fair opportunities
Strong background in events, branded content & marketing
Support sponsorship pitches and project management for events and tentpoles, including the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Art Basel Paris, Film Festivals and more
Present brand opportunities to the sales organization at weekly revenue meetings
Role Requirements
6+ years qualifying experience.
Background in marketing, events, branded content, digital media or experience working at a film studio, talent agency, fashion/luxury house a plus
Passion for film, tv, entertainment, fashion, and culture
Excellent creative writer and ideator with strong presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Self-starter who can work independently and within a team setting
Able to successfully interface with confidence and diplomacy with internal stakeholders and external clients
The expected base salary range for this position is from $97,000-$134,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
