Global Audio Visual AV Manager

The Audio Visual Team at IDEXX is responsible for evaluating, recommending and coordinating installation, maintenance and day-to-day operation of Audio-Visual equipment globally.  The team also support IDEXX’s collaboration technology, including day to day meeting support and back-end infrastructure. As the leader of this team, you will provide the technical strategy of IDEXX's global AV portfolio and also lead two AV analysts.  Some of the conferences at IDEXX require the complexity of integrating multiple AV technologies, outside vendors, and attendees’ personal technologies globally.

As the Global Audio Visual Manager you will lead a team of two AV Analysts that support over 600 meetings and events (including Board, ELT/Executive Leadership Team, Town Halls, and onsite Event Center meetings) a year. You will also partner with IDEXXers around the world and provide guidance on how to support events in their various regions.

In this role you will…

Provide architecture design and support for global IDEXX conference rooms which consist of 370 videoconference rooms with 351 scheduling panels currently.Coordinate with IDEXX Facilities Teams to provide design, purchase, and implementation across new location builds, conference room updates, and conference room movesProvide technical design, implementation and support for IDEXX's global digital signage solution, Appspace. There are currently over 200+ signs .Manage all AV International vendors globally,.Provide vendor management for software and services across:Notified – Webcast platform utilized for the CEO 's Global Town Halls and Investor Day.Cisco – Videoconference for large events, hardware, and CVI-InteropCrestron – Booking PanelsConnectivity Point – to coordinate physical hardware installs/updatesHive – peer to peer eCDN for content delivery optimization across network supporting CEO Town Halls and other internal large events.Will lead transition from Cisco WebEx to Teams Town Halls as well as transition to Teams Meeting Rooms

What you will need to succeed…

7+ years of Audio Visual/AV analyst work with 1-3+ of those years managing a teamTechnical Proficiency:  Extensive knowledge of AV technologies (audio mixers, video mixers, AV over IP, streaming solutions, etc)C, adept at configuring and troubleshooting AV hardware/software, and well-versed in industry standards for AV design and integration.AV System Design and Integration: Experienced in designing customized AV solutions, integrating systems with IT infrastructure, and proficient in AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX) for user interface customization and workflow automation.Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve AV equipment issues, provide technical support to users, and document solutions effectively.Event Support and Production: Skilled in supporting live events, setting up AV equipment, managing resources, and ensuring seamless execution of AV requirements for presentations and productions.Training and User Education: Develops and delivers training programs on AV equipment operation, conducts workshops, and provides ongoing education to empower users in utilizing AV technology effectively.Quality Assurance and Performance Optimization: Proactively ensures AV system reliability and compliance through quality assurance checks, performance testing, and optimization of configurations and workflows.Customer focus with Communication and Collaboration: Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and users, facilitating successful AV projects and service delivery.
