ABOUT OUR ROLES
Global Banking & Markets New Business Group (GM NBG): is a part of the Client Experience organization within the Operations division. The team is responsible for managing onboarding mandates and ensure requests are project managed and completed by expected launch date. The team works closely with clients and internal teams, which includes Sales, Credit, Client Onboarding, Trading Documentation Group, Compliance and Legal. The goal is to create efficiencies in the onboarding process, increase throughput and provide exceptional client experience.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
GM NBG works very closely with Sales and multiple internal groups including Legal, Credit Risk Management and Operations to ensure clients are set up to trade with GS.
GM NBG Responsibilities:
Work with Sales to prioritize onboarding requestsDrive the documentation and account opening processes for clients from initiation to completionServe as point person for clients in the onboarding processLiaise with internal stakeholders including Legal, Credit Risk Management, Counterparty Risk and OperationsProvide transparency to Sales and clients on onboarding statusAct as initial escalation point for clients and internal groups for issues/bottlenecks in the onboarding processSKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or equivalentExperience in pre-trade / onboarding functionsBusiness to native level in Mandarin to cover different markets and engage with clients in China and Taiwan. The language skills is required to manage the onboarding mandates and drive the documentation and account opening process of clients based in China and TaiwanDrive and Motivation – can handle multiple tasks, takes initiative to improve his/her own performance or workflow processes, works intensely towards challenging goals and persists in the face of obstacles or setbacksRisk Management – possess a strong risk mindsetCommunication Skills – communicates what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner and shares information/new ideas with othersClient Focus – client centric mindset, desire to build trusted and long-term relationships with clients Teamwork – strong team player, collaborates with others within and across teams, encourages other team members to participate and acknowledges the contributions of othersJudgment and Problem Solving – thinks ahead, anticipates questions, finds alternative solutions, and identifies clear objectives.
