The team consists of highly dynamic individuals who lead efforts to pioneer innovation and new business opportunities utilizing technology and automation to best service clients, grow revenues, and achieve operational efficiencies. In close collaboration with leaders and stakeholders across the firm, the team (i) identifies and executes on complex and innovative multi-year growth opportunities to align with market structure developments, (ii) leads inorganic growth opportunities through partnerships, investments and acquisitions that focus on trading capabilities and markets technologies, and (iii) drives commercial outcomes through client partnerships on market structure and digital priorities.
GBM Strategy, Investments & Partnerships - US FICC Lead
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a NY-based seasoned vice president to lead US fixed income, currencies and commodities market structure and strategic partnerships efforts. Candidates must have a strong interest in financial technologies and market structure. Existing familiarity with the FICC market structure landscape – trading & markets technologies, market participants and regulatory – is required.
Responsibilities:
Identify and effect strategic market structure objectives through regulatory, exchange and industry advocacy Lead partnership efforts with market infrastructures and fin techs to: (i) drive and advocate for market structure outcomes and (ii) maximize value derived through revenue opportunities and expense savings Source, evaluate and manage strategic investments that are aligned to US FICC market infrastructure and technologyDeepen client connectivity through market structure engagement: bilateral engagement with key clients and broad-based content distribution
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following:
8+ years of working experience in financial markets, preferably with experience in sales, trading, or investment bankingTrack record of both thinking strategically, managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, and prioritizing effectivelyGenuine interest in technology and markets, and exhibits intellectual curiosityStrong interpersonal skills, collaborative and team oriented Exceptional communication skills – verbal and writtenABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
