BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
The Loan Management team is a business unit within the Global Banking & Markets segment, primarily supporting the Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance desks. The team is a multi‐faceted diligence and asset management platorm specializing in whole loan acquisition, sales, securitizations, and financing
opportunities. The Loan Management team has product expertise across mortgages, consumer loans, real estate and warehouse financing.
Trade Management Analyst will have key responsibilities in supporting due diligence (at both the deal and asset levels) for the acquisition and sale/securitization of residential whole loan portfolios and ensuring completion of transaction closing requirements. Analyst is responsible for reviewing Residential Mortgage documents for accuracy and adherence to requirements, assisting in due diligence for the acquisition and sale or securitization of residential loan portfolios Goldman Sachs’ third‐party
vendor partners. The team also works on Consumer and Warehouse business.
Responsibilities
Perform critical document reviews including property reports and title policies to identify anytitle deficiencies or prior liens or tax liens which affects GS lien position on propertyPerform valuation documents review like property appraisal review, BPO (Broker Price Opinion)
review for loan and trade level requirements.Perform accuracy check on loan data received from different sources and validate through
documents reviewSupport Transaction Managers on trade related functions and perform ancillary reviews &
various diligence reviews on loansReview various lender guides against GS underwriting criteria to identify gaps to assist with
trading desk for decision makingPerform audits/underwriting QC review of the originated loan (Credit, Income and Compliance)
and determine exceptionsExtensively work with different servicers and perform continuous follow ups to get loan level
data and documents required for various diligence reviewsReview and analyze invoices and supporting information to ensure accurate billing for services
by third party vendorsActively participate in system/technology/automation related projects (e.g., assist IT/System
Administration with design, analysis, testing, and implementation aspects of enhancements
made to the system)Support other departments with servicing related research (Reporting and Analytics, Asset
Management, Repurchase Team, Transaction Management, and Trade Desk Support)Ensure departmental and corporate guidelines are followed, and objectives are achievedPerform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum of 3‐7 years of experience on US mortgage loan origination, underwriting andmortgage documents reviewKnowledgeable on mortgage documents such as Note, Mortgage Deed, Title Policy, Property
Appraisal, BPO and credit reportsRequires strong working knowledge on Residential Loan Underwriting, able to read and
understand lending guide.Excellent decision‐making and strong analytical skillsSelf‐confidence, good judgment, sound decision making and problem solving skillsAbility to handle a high‐stress, fast‐paced environment, and aggressive deadlines with minimum

Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA)‐Regulation X, Truth‐in‐Lending Act (TILA)‐Regulation ZExcellent PC skills and possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to
include Excel, and Word
