The Franchise New Business Group “FNBG” is the central point of contact for all aspects of client onboarding/account opening. FNBG team members are aligned with specific sales desks and work closely with sales coverage, legal, credit risk, operations, compliance and clients to ensure an effective and smooth onboarding process.
FNBG team members develop strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include asset managers, corporations, hedge funds and private equity. They are expected to play a key role in client relationship management and understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business as well as grow subject matter expertise in onboarding and regulatory requirements. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments, and are energized by a bustling trading floor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Owning and driving the onboarding process on behalf of the desk for all client types and products Use active discussions with Sales to manage the priority queueDrive internal and external conversations to facilitate the negotiation of trading agreements: ISDA, CDEA, MSFTA, and MRA.Develop in depth knowledge of all account opening requirements needed such as AML, KYC & product to legal entity alignmentManage tight deadlines to ensure we meet clients’ service level expectations: fund launches, market specific deadlines and trade datesProvide excellent client service at time of onboardingDemonstrate a sound appreciation of new business policies, and process enhancementsQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s DegreeMinimum of 3-5 of client service/financial institution experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize projectsStrong attention to detail Strong client service orientationGeneral understanding of onboarding, KYC or regulatory requirementsPrior experience in related onboarding functions (e.g. Due Diligence, Agreement negotiation) is preferredExperience/knowledge with ISDA and other trading agreements is preferredABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $80000-$135000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
