RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Team Overview: The Structured Equity Finance team structures, underwrites, and risk manages bespoke equity-linked financing transactions within the Global Banking & Markets division.  

Roles and Responsibilities

Be a part of the Structured Equity Financing team, assisting in all phases of the deal process from risk evaluation to trade execution. Work on bespoke equity-linked financing transactions, including margin loans as well as fund financing products.Ensure that the loan portfolio is actively risk managed and in-line with expectations, including trade bookings, pre-trade client research and company analysis, and post-trade risk monitoring and executions.Drive the growth of the lending platform via development of operational tools and efficiencies. Develop data aggregation, risk monitoring, capital calculation tools to price bespoke products, and monitor new product types as needed.Liaise with operations teams and client stakeholders in order to ensure smooth servicing of existing transactions. Responsible for engaging with various internal constituents, including Credit Risk, Legal, Regulatory Capital, Research, Treasury.Support the business in wider ad-hoc duties

Basic Qualifications:

1+ years of experience within a structured finance (or similar) teamFamiliarity with derivative products, trading booking platforms and trade flows Financial analysis skills; ability to critically review and analyze financing proposals and financial statementsAbility to identify and articulate complex issues to a diverse group of stakeholders, propose mitigants/solutions and escalate appropriatelyQuantitative and data analytical skillsStrong work ethic and high levels of motivationStrong time and project management/organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle a fast-paced environment; communicate factually and influentially ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $110000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
