Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a Global BI&A Manager to join and strengthen our team in turning data into reports and visually intuitive dashboards that impact key decision-making in the organization. In this position, you will guide and coach members of the Finance & operational Control sub-team within our global BI&A organization towards innovative solutions in data modeling, report creation, and analysis of data flows for process improvement opportunities.

The BI&A manager will engage with Finance leaders in the areas of Project Accounting & Billing, AP, and general accounting, and Operations leaders in understanding business reporting requirements and managing the delivery of standard reporting solutions for these stakeholders.

This role is not location specific, global scope/location (posted in US East cost areas, UK, and NL)

Reports directly to Global Business Intelligence & Analytics Pillar Leader (Finance & Operational Control); and with direct reports: BI Specialist (dotted – in GSSC)

Role accountabilities:

Support the team (or directly contribute to) the creation and development of comprehensive content (dashboards, data models, processes, training material, project scoping, and management), to meet the requirements of various reporting tasks and projects, while ensuring adherence to global reporting standards.​ Understanding the Arcadis Way business processes and identifying how reporting can support the business process Stay updated with industry standards, trends, and best practices, and propose relevant changes to current reporting standards needed.​ Add innovation and creativity into the solutions of road-map items and cascade these toward the team Build and maintain strong working relationships to ensure alignment with promised deliverables and optimal service delivery​ Present regular overviews of performance to senior management, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and recommendations for enhancing overall service quality​ Identify and mitigate risks across processes and systems, implement proactive measures, and propose innovative solutions to enhance operations  Ensure fair distribution of resources and optimize utilization​ Foster a culture of continuous learning, providing necessary resources (e.g. training, opportunities, tools) for team success and career growth​ Align performance expectations, assess employee performance, provide feedback, and take corrective action as needed to drive goal achievement and results​

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications: 

Has a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a business or quantitative discipline Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in a Business Intelligence and Analytical environment working on data, reporting, and technology processes and projects Has experience with Finance & Procurement related processes

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical and data skills with attention to detail Previous solid experience in content creation and data modeling with a BI tool (PowerBI is a plus), preferably in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibilities and experience in a leadership capacity Proven ability to effectively manage high-performing teams, including specialized roles Knowledge of Oracle data warehouse and Analytics Cloud modules, Oracle ERP, OTBI, KNIME, or SQL is a plus

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
