Global Coils Service Productivity Leader
Job Description SummaryResponsible for project operations and programs support including standardization, quality management, document management, methods creation and maintenance, process improvement and tools for the project management function. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Facilitating across value stream assembly and delivery of Coils FRU/Repair parts as part of a Services agreement or order. Responsible liaison between MR Imaging staff and Coils SBU for all manufactured or purchased surface coils for Service.

Includes deep understanding and execution of processing transactions, managing & improving processes to deliver VCP, fulfillment communication, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping sometimes in a shop structure. Significant Lean process influence, balancing work flow and implementing visual controls with strong commitments tied to Kaizen roadmap and Shing event desired outcomes. Big picture, global Coil repair, and “wing-to-wing” ownership of Lead time and customer experience. Some travel required. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage fulfillment to service including but not limited to: B-bad, PO creation, demand planning, material planning and inventory metrics across a service segmentPartner with Global Service Parts Organization to reduce network lead time by implementing Sourced Pole OptimizationInventory management for refurbishment thru development and maintenance of Planning BOM's with knowledge in Oracle systemsWork with New Repair Program Leader to identify opportunities to reduce business costs by implementing new repair programs and expire legacy programsPartner with GSPO and regions to optimize the supply chain to and from customers. Sustain working relationship to achieve customer Lead time reductionsCreate strong partnerships with cross-functional Lean, Quality, and Engineering groups to suggest continuous improvement ideas.Leading and directly modifying EDHR system changes for optimization and improved reflection of Operational processes.Monitor the results of changes to the inventory plan/forecast and recommend modificationsPlan for prevention of excess inventory and \"stock outs\" · Work with all levels of personnel (hourly, supervisory, and general foreperson) in resolving issues, tracking material availability, and advising on material usageWork with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes.  Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation, i.e., Process Development idea sharing with Global repair centers.Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited university or collegeExperience with electronic and manual DHR quality processes, systems, and medical device manufacturing.Lean experience demonstrated through Kaizen facilitation, A3/PSP, and SQDCP root cause problem solving.
