Job Description:
Global Collateral Operations & Exchange Traded Derivatives Operations are responsible for the exchange of collateral to reduce counterparty credit risk and for the support of post-execution trade clearing and product lifecycle management. Our global team consists of a diverse pool of over 500 individuals spanning 16 cities across 8 countries. We provide front-to back support for a broad range of Clients (hedge funds, market makers, trading firms, advisers and investment banks), Global Market products and businesses including Futures and Options & OTC Cleared (F&O), Prime Finance, Global Wealth Management, OTC Bi-lateral Derivatives, Fixed Income Bi-Lateral Repo and To Be Announced.
We are looking to recruit an individual within the GCO & ETD Ops Shared Services team.
The candidate will be able to seamlessly fit into a dynamic role with a high level of interaction with multiple teams across Global Collateral Operations and the wider Global Markets business. The candidate will need to proactively implement best practice processes in line with the new Shared Services operating model framework.
Responsibilities:
Provide support with the implementation of the new Shared Services operating model.Perform required Shared Services activities to support GCO and ETD Operations.Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry mandates across 15 Legal EntitiesResearch and resolve problems within the line of businessDay-to-day analysis, research, and resolution of varied problemsExplore methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client satisfactionCross-team collaboration and exposure to diverse product linesInvolvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives.What we are looking for:
Basic Excel knowledgeReconciling data setsData Mining – Identifying key data points, isolating for further analysisAbility to manage multiple priorities and multitaskAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to meet tight deadlinesAbility to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvementsCandidate should be intellectually curious and understand what drives processesSkills that will help:
Previous experience within a Shared Services team will be useful.Experience of using Tableau, Alteryx or other data visualisation tools is desirable.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
