The Global Commercial Lead for Switch is responsible for driving the pre-commercialization and launch of an assigned Rx-OTC Switch asset, like Cialis, in a geography(s) (i.e. US), in addition to building and launching an innovative switch model (ACNU).
This role involves developing and executing commercial strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure successful product launch and sustained growth. They will also be responsible for defining and executing the innovation roadmap in alignment with the switch strategy.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader, who has a deep understanding of the market dynamics, strong leadership skills, and a track record of driving success in the Consumer Health or FMCG sector and someone who can identify growth opportunities and deliver scalable, winning innovation to drive revenue, profit, and market share.
Main Responsibilities:
Brand Development: Build and implement a comprehensive marketing toolkit, focusing on brand equity foundations, visual language, and positioning in line with Global Brand Definition.
Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead tailored go-to-market strategies for specific markets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to share best practices from market launches.
Collaboration with Sales: Partner with customer strategy and sales teams to co-create launch plans with key retailers, ensuring successful execution.
P&L Management: Oversee P&L, forecasting, and inventory planning to support successful brand launches in the US market.
Cross-Functional Team Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including finance, regulatory, and medical teams, while mentoring and guiding the professional development of the commercial team.
ACNU Strategy Development: Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for ACNU, aligning with FDA guidelines to enhance the consumer journey.
Innovation Collaboration: Share ACNU best practices with team members and apply insights to other switch initiatives for improved outcomes.
About You
Education: Post-bachelor’s degree (Master’s, MBA, or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.
Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing, particularly within OTC or FMCG sectors.
Global Experience: Proven track record in global or regional brand management roles.
Brand Innovation: Significant experience in brand innovation and brand-building initiatives.
Digital Expertise: Valued experience with digital go-to-market strategies and approaches.
Switch Experience: Experience in Rx-OTC switch roles is highly regarded.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, effective cross-functional leadership, a bias for action, and fluency in English.
