The Global Communications intern will support part of the Global Communications team (comprised of the Long-Term Operations (LTO) / Outage & Maintenance Services (OMS) Global Communications Manager, and Nuclear Fuel (NF) Global Communications Director) to achieve the department’s strategic goals in support of the business priorities for the business units.
Duties and responsibilities:
Enhance the Westinghouse brand both externally and internally.
Execution of activities designed to support the growth and transformation of the LTO/OMS and NF Business Units (advertising, content creation (e.g., social media projects), internal communications (e.g., blog posts, WEmail articles), media management, customer communications, marketing communications, etc.) Prepare content (e.g., Power Points presentations) for the BU monthly meetingsAny other activity requested by the Global Communications Manager or Global Communications Director
Minimum requirements:
• BA in communication & media, marketing, or similar.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Proactive, able to take autonomous decisions.
• Result-oriented, focused on high-quality and timely delivery.
• Ability to work under pressure in a meticulous, highly regulated market while working collaboratively and partnering with both internal and external groups.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Exceptional writing ability, with business writing, editing, and proofreading knowledge.
• Knowledgeable of social media
• Mastery of the following programs: MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
