Focus: The Global Compensation Manager is responsible for managing broad-based and executive compensation functions and incentive programs across the organization. This includes developing and directing the implementation of compensation programs that provide a competitive level of pay, motivation, and reward to employees. This role will manage the day-to-day administration of executive compensation programs including long-term and short-term incentives. A Compensation Analyst will report to this position.
Global Compensation Manager Essential Job Functions: Lead the global salary administration/merit budget/variable comp pay planning process Oversee the job architecture/benchmarking processes and provide guidance on internal and external offers Monitor competitive trends in compensation; Participate in benchmarking surveys, conduct salary band/reference level analysis, and identify Olin’s position in the market; Make recommendations for changes to compensation, rewards and recognition programs to ensure Olin can attract and retain top talent Lead the implementation and administration of compensation plans throughout the organization to ensure alignment with corporate strategies, including special compensation projects Develop and recommend salary policy strategy and administrative procedures including the effectiveness of programs, and recommend modifications as appropriate Ensure proper evaluation of jobs utilizing the Hay methodology Design and implement training materials for HR Partners and Business Leaders on total rewards programs, policies, and practices Collaborate with Corporate and Division HR to provide counsel to managers on individual salary adjustments; Partner with global HR teams to provide appropriate guidance and support for Olin’s EMEAI, LATAM, and APAC compensation programs Administer various aspects of Olin’s Executive Compensation programs Provide support in compiling supporting documentation relative to Executive Compensation in accordance with SEC requirements Global Compensation Manager Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree* in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting Minimum of 6 years of relevant compensation experience, including executive compensation, broad-based compensation, and short- and long-term incentive experience; global or multinational organization experience preferred 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, with the ability to extract actionable information from complex datasets Extensive understanding of compensation strategies, job structuring, and benchmarking methodologies. Experience working with HR systems and implementing system improvements (Workday HCM preferred) Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively educate and influence individuals at all levels Must be a self-starter who can effectively prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and project management skills
