Global Corporate Banking – Brazil Subsidiary Banking Associate

The Brazil Subsidiary Banking team serves foreign multinational companies with a local presence. As an Associate, you will work closely with corporate bankers and product & risk partners to develop and maintain client relationships. You will also manage your own portfolio of prospective clients. Additionally, you will support the Corporate Banking team by managing internal processes, including advancing credit requests, securing approvals for deal executions, identifying and tracking opportunities, and ensuring accurate reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
Work alongside corporate bankers and product partners, including Payments, Sales & Marketing, Debt Capital Markets, Investor Services, Asset Management and Investment Banking, to identify and execute transactions from initial pitch through to closing, for both existing and prospective clients, across JPMorgan’s broad array of products. Manage your own portfolio of prospective clients. Support corporate bankers to conduct regular comprehensive client analysis & cross-functional reviews with peers to identify new revenue opportunities from existing and prospective clients. Assist corporate bankers in developing forward looking business plans for clients and maintaining existing business relationships. Support corporate bankers to drive account-planning processes for the Corporate Banking clients (existent and prospective). Collaborate with corporate bankers to produce and distribute client deliverables. Analyze client wallet, competitive positioning and overall marketing strategy. Prepare marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as financing, working capital optimization, industry, and peer analysis. Assist with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements, support credit approval and documentation process). Participate in the analysis and negotiation of financing requests in coordination with credit, product, legal and compliance teams. Act as a point of contact both internally and for clients for middle office/operations queries where required. Prepare and maintain internal presentations, materials and processes, such as senior briefing memos, credit request submissions, portfolio reviews, global firm-wide account plans, pipeline reporting. Understand the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings, including but not limited to Treasury Services, Trade Finance, Markets, DCM, Securities Services, Asset Management.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills. Commercial judgment and influencing abilities. Ability to interact with clients and internal partners. Ability to work independently and at the same time be a great team player. Self-driven, high-energy, organized, adaptable, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. Confidence and initiative to take on early responsibilities and manage your own projects. Knowledge of financing, liquidity, payments, risk management and capital markets solutions. PowerPoint and Excel skills. Fluent in Portuguese and English; A minimum of 3+ years of experience working in the space with a balanced mix of commercial, interpersonal and technical skills, to join the team and hit the ground running.Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
