Global Corporate Controller

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a Global Corporate Controller to lead our accounting function and ensure we meet the highest standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic growth. Job Description The Global Corporate Controller is a senior leadership role within the finance organization, reporting directly to the CFO. This high-visibility position will oversee all global accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and operational accounting expertise, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to balance strategic leadership with detailed execution. In this role, you will drive IPO readiness, collaborate with global Shared Services, and build a scalable infrastructure to support the company’s rapid growth and future opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and scale the global accounting function, including team development, process optimization, and implementation of efficient, scalable financial operations. Collaborate effectively with the business as a strategic partner to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Drive IPO readiness efforts, including preparing financial systems, processes, and reporting to align with public company requirements and SEC compliance. Develop, implement, and maintain a strong internal control environment (SOX compliance) to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. Manage the annual external audit process and serve as the primary point of contact with auditors. Address findings and ensure audit readiness across all global entities. Collaborate with Shared Services teams, including operations in India, to streamline global accounting processes and achieve operational efficiency. Partner with FP&A to align financial performance tracking, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Collaborate with Tax on global tax compliance and strategy, including transfer pricing policies, local tax requirements, and corporate tax planning. Provide leadership in multi-entity consolidations, foreign exchange management, and intercompany transactions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the accounting and finance teams. Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing global accounting team capable of supporting the company’s growth initiatives. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience: 15+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (e.g., Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar). Experience in multinational software or technology companies with revenues of $500M or more. Proven track record in preparing for and executing IPOs or operating within a public company environment. Deep understanding of US GAAP, and SEC reporting requirements. Expertise in managing global accounting operations, including multi-entity consolidations and compliance with international financial regulations. IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Skills and Attributes: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and retain talent. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite) and process and system optimization. Collaborative approach with experience working closely with Shared Services teams in global locations.
