As a Global Creative Director, you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Global Marketing team reporting to the VP, Global Creative Director, you will work on projects including enabling new ways of working, building a more creative operation, and supporting the creation of inspiring, distinctive, and personalized marketing content for our Enterprise and trading brands.

\nWhat your day-to-day will be like:
\n\nEncouraging and elevating the team and the work around you; building the best possible creative environment and leading by example.\nProactively understanding and gaining knowledge of our business, brands, target audiences, and competitor activities.\nSupporting the rollout of our global marketing platform ‘For the Stay,’ partnering with external agencies, independent contractors, and internal stakeholders to align positioning efforts.\nInteracting with business partners and partners in various capacities, facilitating effective decision-making.\nGive and receive feedback internally and outside the design team; provide critiques respectfully and productively.\nConceptualizing with the team, providing feedback, guiding, or informing creative strategy. Cultivating learning new tips, tricks, shortcuts, design tools, etc.\nCollaborating with partner teams and other members of the internal creative studio to understand business goals, marketing objectives, and creative needs to support various marketing campaigns and projects.\nAdhering to Hilton’s brand identity and accessibility standards and guidelines while helping to inform the evolution and extension of the visual identity.\nIdentify where to invest time and energy best, know when to be involved versus hands-off, and prioritize our work.\nStaying current on industry trends and standard methodologies, particularly in the digital and social space; sharing ideas and recommendations for innovating new templates and design approaches.\nLeading and shaping our external agency partners and bolstering our creative freelance roster.\n\nHow you will collaborate with others:
\n\nPartnering with the VP/CD/ACD/Designers/Strategists/Copywriters to develop compelling creative solutions across omni-platform touchpoints with a customer-first lens.\nWorking closely with the leadership and operations team regarding talent management, recruitment, retention, and training. Recognizing, inspiring, and motivating the talent of those on the team.\n\nWhat projects you will take ownership of:
\n\n\nHelping plan and run effective creative brainstorming workshops and creative presentations for our partners across marketing, brand, and corporate lines of business.
\n\n\nWHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
\nYou have these minimum qualifications:
\n\nTen (10) years of relative design experience\nFive (5) years managing creative teams\nExperience working in/with highly matrixed organizations, and marketing departments, understanding business goals, and finding creative solutions\nExperienced in applying style guides creatively while upholding brand identity\nTravel as needed (estimated 20-30%)\nStrong portfolio showing a range of design, experience, concepts, and global campaigns\nMcLean, VA-based position (3 days in office on average)\n\nIt would be useful if you have:
