Who we are looking for

The Data Governance Officer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of the division's data assets. This role involves developing and implementing data governance policies, procedures, and standards to manage data effectively and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What you will be responsible for

Implement a comprehensive data governance frameworkEnsure compliance with data regulations and ethical standardsCollaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data standardsIdentify and mitigate data quality issuesEnforce data retention policiesImplement and manage data classification policiesManage data security and privacy controlsProvide training on data governance best practicesMonitor and report on data governance performanceSupport the resolution of data, information and processing challenges impacting operational or business performance

This position will collaborate closely with teams across the organization, including but not limited to:

GCF Product Heads and Account OfficersGCF Middle and Back office teamsData StewardFinance and Markets Business RiskITEnterprise Data Governance & ManagementData Operations Solutions Team (DOST)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of data governance principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with various departmentsProficiency in data management tools and technologiesAnalytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $102,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
