Global Custody Asset Servicing Vice President

Do you have a background in financial services and are experienced within Custody or Investment Bank Corporate Actions environment? Then you found the right position for you!
 
As a Global Custody  Asset Servicing Vice President, within the Operational Readiness team, you will be responsible for managing all corporate and income related events across all asset classes for collections, announcement capture, corporate actions processing, income processing, proxy and controls, entitlement completion and payment processing, claims management. You will play a senior role in strategic implementations for the department, ensuring seamless technology rollouts to minimise risk to the department.


Job responsibilities   

Ensures timely and accurate completion of Controls, Checks, Instructions, and QueriesWorks with Product, Network Management, Sub custodians and vendors to resolve day-to-day issues identified through daily operations and enquiry management.Manages workload to ensure individual, team and departmental deadlines and objectives are metReviews and, where necessary, updates existing processes or procedures to minimise risk and improve the operational environmentProvides support, guidance and training to share knowledge and strengthen the team to enhance global client experienceTakes full responsibility for adherence to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints and controlsAssists the Department Manager in the day-to-day management of the instruction process ensuring effective workload balancing for team membersReviews all manual Controls for Timely Execution and Checks for accuracy

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Financial Services background within a Custody or Investment Bank Corporate Actions environmentCustody Asset Servicing knowledge Successful performance in a risk-based environment with a proven track record of risk reductionResults based experience demonstrating strategic and analytical thinkingTrack record of working in a changing environment with the experience of learning, documenting and implementing new processes efficientlyExperience of communicating both oral and written to management, clients and colleagues

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

Proficient in Microsoft OfficePrevious experience of team development and management
