Global Demand Mktg Lead

The Portfolio Marketing Programs & Insights Lead reports to the Global Head of Marketing for Service Lines and Partnerships, and is a senior role that works in collaboration with a team of portfolio marketers as well as cross-functional teams across the marketing organization, playing a key role supporting the delivery of world-class portfolio marketing campaigns. In this role, you will support the strategic planning and execution of marketing programs, activations and events; lead the analytics and reporting programs for portfolio marketing (connecting portfolio marketers with the data and insights they need to build effective strategies, as well as leading the development of effective stakeholder reporting) and support demand campaign enablement. You will be a key member of our Global Customer Marketing & Insights team and work with colleagues across the organization as well as agency and external delivery partners to deliver key outcomes.

In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities across program management; analytics, insights and reporting; and demand campaign enablement. Key focus areas for the role will be stakeholder management and communications and budget management.

Job responsibilities Support portfolio marketers and others around the strategic planning of global portfolio marketing programs, activations, and events. Examples include marquee research and content; global webinars; Thoughtworks participation at major industry conferences e.g. AWS re:Invent and Microsoft Ignite. Coordinate with portfolio marketers to align program activities with overall business objectives and marketing strategies. Own the management and execution of global portfolio marketing programs, activations, and events, including collaboration with cross-functional teams, agencies and external vendors to ensure integrated and cohesive campaign execution. Develop and manage the analytics and insights framework for portfolio marketing, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of insights to support data-driven decision-making and campaign planning. This includes using self-service platforms e.g. Salesforce, Demandbase, Adobe Analytics as well as working closely with colleagues in cross-functional teams such as Market Intelligence and GTM Ops Analytics teams, to understand, source and curate the necessary data and insights required to support the campaign planning process. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track campaign performance, providing actionable insights to portfolio marketers.To lead the development of a robust framework for stakeholder reporting and delivering a regular cadence of reports, that critically synthesize data into clear and compelling narratives. To be responsible for the execution and development of demand generation campaign enablement assets including battlecards/win cards, client decks, client stories/case studies, intranet pages. Working with Internal Comms to draft and agree sales enablement email communications.Serve as a key point of contact between the Portfolio Marketing team with other cross-functional teams across the marketing organization and delivery partners to ensure the successful execution of marketing programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and brand requirements. Regularly update the Global Head of Customer Marketing & Insights and Global Head of Marketing for Service Lines & Partnerships on program progress, insights, and recommendations.Oversee the budget for portfolio marketing programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and managing expenditures within approved limits. Work with GTM Operations budget team to forecast and track budget performance, adjusting plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.Finally, you’ll support and model the execution of Portfolio Marketing best practices global. Job qualifications Technical Skills You are results driven, resilient, and not easily dissuaded by hurdles or setbacks.You are enthusiastic and self-directed, with the ability to execute as well as step back and look at the bigger picture. You are a stronger communicator and influencer and are able to connect with internal and external stakeholders with ease, from local developers to far-flung marketing colleagues. You have fantastic program/project management skills and can coordinate multiple work streams in parallel. This is not a copywriting role, but you must  have copywriting skills; you must be able to copywrite BAU content and assets including email communications. You thrive in an unstructured environment; you find your own growth opportunities and are happy to determine your own path amongst the ambiguity. You have good intuition, but you trust data more. You define opportunities and problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and make conclusions.You are able to deftly juggle multiple balls, organize, prioritize, and above all, believe in yourself. You are not someone who spends months perfecting a beautiful plan. We work light and fast, we plan at a broad brush level with the entire business, and dive in in the near term. Our world changes too fast to plan years ahead. You are not someone who expects a drove of agencies to support you on strategy, or to drive your opinion. We’re hiring you, for you, not for your vendor connections. You are not a 'ta da' marketer. We don't work as individual contributors who showcase finished work. We build our plans together, most typically in a lightweight way. Minimum of 10 years experience in the marketing / sales function, with at least 5 years experience in a marketing program/project management role.B2B marketing experience. Professional Skills Experience in marketing digital transformation/ technology consulting services preferred. Experience creating and executing global marketing campaigns.
