Join our dynamic team as the Global Director of Engineering, where you will spearhead operational, tactical, and strategic initiatives for our enterprise-wide Engineering leadership team. We're looking for a passionate leader with a robust engineering background and expertise in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

In this exciting role, you will guide a talented group of engineering leaders, engineers, and technicians across Creation’s sites. Your mission will be to drive excellence in the manufacturing of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical subassemblies and systems. You'll play a crucial part in developing innovative engineering strategies, interpreting customer specifications, and leading New Product Introductions (NPI). Your analytical skills will shine as you harness data to enhance our processes, while your leadership will foster collaboration and growth within the team.

If you're ready to make a significant impact and lead us toward engineering excellence, we want to hear from you!Lead a multi-discipline, multi-site Engineering organization focused on capability development and yield improvement in high-reliability manufacturing.Ensure product deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.Serve as the subject matter expert in electronics principles and Electronics Manufacturing Services processes.Support cross-company resource planning and engineering resource recommendations.Create and monitor objectives, goals, and KPIs for engineering teams.Establish efficient tracking systems for initiatives, personnel, and project status.Drive continuous efficiency improvements and assess new technologies.Identify capability gaps in engineering teams and support recruitment efforts.Mentor leaders to attract and develop top engineering talent.Standardize processes across global and regional teams to resolve customer issues.Collaborate on engineering documentation, including procedures and quality management systems.Oversee technology roadmaps and manage global supplier relationships, ensuring compliance and validation of engineering software.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Computer Science) required; advanced degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration preferred.Minimum of 15 years in a senior leadership role with multi-site responsibilities; at least 10 years in electronics manufacturing of high-reliability PCBA and system-level products.Extensive experience in Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Tech Industrial products manufacturing preferred.Familiarity with the product lifecycle for NPIs, from planning to sustaining volume production.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong technical acumen and attention to detail.Demonstrated leadership, project management experience, and ability to identify and implement best practices.Excellent presentation skills and experience in customer relations, with effective communication across all organizational levels.Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, FDA GMP regulations, and Nadcap certification requirements.Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles; certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt is an asset.

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from 150,000 to 185,000 CAD and USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
