Schedule: Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM. Responsibilities Omni Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Global Distribution Business Coordinator to assist in ensuring the Omni hotel guests receive the best service possible when booking with Omni Reservation Center. This in return helps maximize revenue generation for Omni Hotels and Resorts through timely and accurate information rates and information through the various distribution systems. + Oversee for GDD rate loading workflow with a focus on revenue generation, efficiency and prioritization. Ensures projects are completed and turnaround is met. + Assist with documentation of departmental Standard Operating Procedures and the ongoing maintenance of documentation related to rate loading activities. + Participate in hotel room reconfigurations ensuring all Distribution channels are completed and that appropriate staff is informe. + Assist and perform testing as needed and be involved in new releases, new partners and new functionality as needed + Ensure Central Reservation System quality by reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems, technology, user needs, and related processes. Make recommendations for improved efficiencies that allow maximum use of existing technologies + As needed write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify existing systems. Document changes and distribute to applicable parties + Coordinate activities and department resources to meet project timelines and goals including distribution of work + Assist with Corporate and Regional promotions, including qualified activities such as Select Guest Initiatives. This includes departmental input on official Promotional Templates and Reservation Center notification of upcoming promotions + Work closely with the Business Travel Coordinator to assist with Corporate Account loading + Assist with creation, modification and ending for various hotel offers focusing on delivery and validation on desired selling platform and distribution channels + Work closely with hotels regarding information in all systems, including policies such as guarantee, deposit or cancellation requirements + Helps to oversee additions, changes, or deletion of taxes and fees in Central System content and on all relevant channels (Expedia Partner Central, Booking.com Admin, Agoda/Priceline Extranet (YCS), Hopper Portal, Hotel Tonight Portal, DHISCO, DerbySoft Content Suite) + May be required to assist GDD Director, Manager and Supervisor in performing other related duties, responsibilities and activities which may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice + Perform on-going quality audits to ensure quality on all channels where Omni Hotels and resorts are sold + Assist team to work with each property to ensure information is correct, up-to-date and the information assists Sales Associates in selling the specific property + Collaborates with the Sales Operations on training and follow-up related to property information challenges + Work closely with Web Updates and Omni Service Center to ensure and maintain correct information across all Omni Properties and the Omni brand + Assist and Initiate new property and property switch processes with Global Distribution Systems(Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo), DHISCO and DerbySoft, processing switch letters, completing all initial shells and trackers needed for hotel creation + Deactivate property and process with Central Reservation System, Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo), DHISCO, DerbySoft, and all applicable internet sites + Perform needed updates in the Project database (DFO) and other applications used to track incoming and work completion + Utilizes Leonardo to ensure digital assets are current, good quality and distributed to all partners + Ensure performance metrics are created and monitored for peak performance Qualifications + Attention to Detail + Technical/Analytical Skills + Able to work independently + Critical Thinker + Previous industry experience is a plus + Self-Starter with ability to work independently needing minimal supervision in-house or remotely + Ability to adapt to the highly complex changing work environment + Knowledge of MS Office, Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo), OTAs (such as Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda/Priceline, Hopper, Hotel Tonight) and content databases (such as DHISCO, DerbySoft Content Suite, Expedia Partner Central (EPC), Booking.com Admin, Agoda/Priceline (YCS) + Time Management + Excellent communication both oral and written Job LocationsUS-NE-Omaha Posted Date1 month ago(5/30/2024 2:37 PM) Requisition ID 2024-110553 # of Openings 1 Category (Portal Searching) Reservations
