Global EHS Products Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Global EHS Products Manager to lead the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy for our Products Division. This critical role will provide leadership and oversight to ensure compliance with global EHS regulations, drive continuous improvement in safety practices, and support our commitment to sustainability across diverse operational areas, including manufacturing, logistics, and field operations. As the Global EHS Products Manager, you will have Global Functional Process Ownership and work with teams across Europe, North America, Latin America, China, South Africa, and other key markets to maintain high EHS standards while ensuring operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.Experience:
At least 10 years of field or shop-related experience in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, Oil & Gas, mining, or a related field. 10 years of military experience will also be considered.A minimum of 7 years leading EHS teams in a global or multi-site organization.Languages: Bilingual in Spanish and English (fluency required, with most communications conducted in English).Certifications:
Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), CMSP (Certified Mine Safety Professional), or NEBOSH are a strong plus.ISO 9001, 14001, and/or 45001 Certified Auditor is preferred.Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple locations.Travel:
Based upon two times per year to each region in Europe, North America, Latin America, China, and South Africa as required.



Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight:
Lead the Products Division in meeting EHS goals, ensuring compliance with global regulations and aligning with corporate objectives.Provide direction and oversight for the development and implementation of EHS strategies across global locations.Ensure continuous improvement of safety practices, processes, and programs, promoting a safety-first culture.Functional Process Owner for EHS for our Products Division (own best practices, tools, systems, processes, etc.)Workplace Audits & Compliance:
Conduct regular workplace audits and inspections to monitor work activities, ensuring compliance with client, company, and government regulations.Oversee and ensure that business unit audits are conducted on time, achieving high safety standards and meeting regulatory compliance requirements.Support and/or lead start-of-hitch and daily/weekly safety meetings to engage employees and ensure alignment with EHS objectives.Incident Management & Safety:
Lead post-incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Track injury management and assist in promoting efficient return-to-work processes, ensuring compliance with legal and insurance requirements.Partner with field and shop staff to maintain necessary documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Training, Coaching & Development:
Develop, deliver, and manage EHS training programs for employees at all levels across global locations.Provide coaching and mentoring to EHS teams, promoting professional development and improving safety awareness and performance.Support the development of additional safety skills and credentials through courses, conferences, and other learning opportunities.
Performance Monitoring & KPIs:
Own and manage Lagging and Leading Indicator KPI programs for the division, ensuring that safety performance is measured, tracked, and continuously improved.Regularly generate reports on EHS performance, compliance status, and progress toward established goals and targets.Collaborate with business unit EHS representatives to set and monitor annual KPI programs for the Products Division, ensuring alignment with global safety objectives.Environmental & Social Governance (ESG):
Support ESG initiatives focusing on carbon emissions, safety statistics, compliance responsibilities, and community initiatives related to EHS.Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations such as permits, inspections, and certifications within the Products Division.Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Interact with client safety representatives and promote Boart Longyear’s commitment to safe profitability, growth, and operational excellence.Provide security advisory services related to mobile, facility, drill rig safety, CCTV, IVMS, and deliver relevant training such as HEAT and driver training.Safety Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure that Risk Registers, Facility Inspections, and Scorecards are compiled accurately and promptly.Ensure compliance with annual regulatory inspections, certifications, and safety programs for the division.Assist with HR/EHS functions, including scheduling, evaluation of candidates, hiring, and training.Additional Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between office personnel and field/shop crews for personnel matters as directed.Perform other EHS-related duties as needed, ensuring that EHS compliance and operational effectiveness are maintained across the organization.More information regarding the management of EHS personnel in other geographies, some directly and some dotted line influence.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managing EHS functions within a global manufacturing or field-based environment, especially in industries such as oil & gas, mining, or construction.Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) or other relevant EHS certifications.Ability to address complex EHS challenges across multiple countries and cultures, balancing regulatory compliance with business goals.
