The Global Employee Mobility Program Lead provides mobility and assignment advisory services to business managers and HRBPs on the use and benefits of global mobility programs, policies and processes to meet specific business needs. As a mobility program lead you will work with internal parties and external vendors to provide SME knowledge and technical advice on assignment-related compliance issues (e.g., immigration, new country requirements, tax, legal or employment issues, etc.). Additionally, the in your role you will oversee the outsourced services and resolve escalated issues.

Responsibilities:

Project and Regional Management: Oversee multiple ongoing projects and mobility operations. This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of mobility initiatives, and addressing regional or global challenges to support business objectives effectively. Support cross-functional teams and/or different mobility regions with ongoing critical initiatives.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with global mobility policies and processes, including monitoring and managing risks related to immigration, tax, and legal requirements. This involves staying updated on changes in regulations and making necessary adjustments to policies and procedures.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers to apply program governance. This includes overseeing outsourced services, ensuring service quality, and resolving any escalated issues.

Advisory Expertise: Provide expert advice to business managers, HR partners, and employees on all aspects of global mobility, including immigration, tax, and relocation matters. This involves acting as a strategic advisor to ensure smooth transitions.

Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement and manage change for global mobility policies and procedures to support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This may include creating guidelines for international assignments, business traveler compliance, relocations, tax positions and immigration support.

Education and Experience Required:

First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.

8+ years of experience working within the mobility function with an emphasis tax and immigration.

Previous experience working within a corporate mobility team is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated experience leading complex global tax, immigration and or relocation programs

Strong knowledge of global tax compliance, including global taxation, PE, payroll compliance, business traveler taxes, and assignment equalization.

Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to employee compensation and benefits.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required. This position interacts frequently at the management level throughout the corporation and requires the ability to influence others.

Strong vendor management and reporting skills, including a track record of success in constructive collaboration with providers.

Understanding of Global Mobility Compliance and Risk management

Proactive approach and solution-oriented attitude.

Team player with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Self-starter who is able to work well independently or in a team environment.

Strong financial and business acumen.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $89,400.00 - $206,500.00
