**Job Description Summary**
The Global Equipment Project Manager is to be located at Grand Forks, US where focus is on ensuring line equipment (LE) at plant is performing and any downtime is mitigated. Lead New Equipment development project and implementation, Within the responsibilities of the role on site is, but not limited to, ensuring that new equipment on site is setup as per specification, technical EHS demands are followed, assist onsite in RCA’s where line equipment may be involved and reduce cost related to the line equipment – this includes assisting in setting up local suppliers to support online equipment issues. As part of a global Equipment team, the role will also include leading and assisting global Equipment projects to develop, deliver and optimize equipment and technology for the manufacture of wind turbine blades, the role may also include supporting of other plants globally that may need technical support.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Lead Equipment project implementation, development, and improvement.
+ Act as the technical leader of equipment projects.
+ Bring expertise in supporting major industrial manufacturing equipment, to ensure suitable development and utilization of equipment and technology to improve manufacturing.
+ Responsible for assisting in setting up best practices, standard procedures, specifications, and processes that enable Tooling to deliver equipment to the highest level in an agile environment, ensuring (but not limited to) Cost-Out, EHS and compliance demands.
+ Good teamwork spirit and communication with other colleagues
+ Self-learning about new technology and method
+ Lead and support team with the project delivery
+ Make product failure analysis and take improvement action
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor or above Degree
+ Minimum of 8 years with practical & hands-on experience related to manufacturing equipment design/development and support, including a proven track record of supporting operations; Project Management experience.
**Desired Characteristics**
+ PMP certificate
+ Solid communication skill is required.
+ Robust knowledge of key concepts of automation, manufacturing equipment, risk assessment, CE directive.
+ Inter-personal skill and teamwork
+ Flexible and independent in the work
+ Beneficial: Programming (Ladder logic PLC, robotic and automotive equipment)
+ High level of problem solving.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
+ Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
+ Established project management skills.
