The Global Event Marketing team’s mission is to support the firm in delivering industry
leading, experience-led events that drive commercial and reputational results.
**About the role:**
We’re looking for an events professional with proven experience in event management, end-to-end project management and/or related positions in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will support the Corporate Events Team in planning and executing a wide range of executive-driven global events.
**What you’ll do:**
+ Lead, support and execute a variety of high complexity global executive events– supporting all aspects from pre-event amplification through post-event follow-up.
+ Overall responsibilities include stakeholder management, content and creative development, executive management, project management, delegate management inc registration, event comms and event technology, venue management, budget management, and more.
+ Core responsibilities include:
+ Partner with key stakeholder to understand event objectives and project priorities
+ Create and manage project management documents such as the event brief, project timeline and event budget.
+ Oversee event technology including event creation of event registration sites, attendee management, and mobile app experience.
+ Manage outreach process from invitation/comms design through to distribution.
+ Provide high-touch attendee management inc logistics coordination of rooming lists, ground transportation and travel.
+ Coordinate event collateral including badging, merch and related materials.
+ Assist in communicating event details to senior stakeholders, detailing aspects such as venue management, menus and the event run of show.
+ Support financial management tasks, such as processing payments, reconciling budgets, and collaborating with the finance team.
+ Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal partners such as: Multimedia, Global Creative, Content, Digital for Events and Building Facilities etc.
**Who you are:**
+ 3+ years of related experience in Event Planning, Event Marketing or Project Management with a preference for experience within financial services or in-house corporate environment.
+ Demonstrate a level of confidence and professionalism appropriate for interfacing with senior executives, both internal and external. Excellent customer service skills a must.
+ High energy, proactive, problem solver, self-starter, results orientated individual.
+ Comfortable working across multiple time zones in a multi-stakeholder environment.
+ Excellent communicator both verbal and written – with refined executive presence.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite specifically PowerPoint and excel
+ Experience in event technology platforms – i.e. Cvent, Social Tables, Slido etc.
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $125,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
