Global FP&A Lead

SUMMARY                                                                                                        

Opportunity for a Senior Manager of FP&A to join the Micro Motion Finance team. This person will be crucial in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making within our organization, Micro Motion is a ~$155 Mn Division forecasted to deliver double digit CAGR. The Senior Manager FP&A is a strategic Finance leadership position responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, financial planning and analysis, Strategic financial planning, annual financial planning & budgeting process, and monthly forecast schedule. Also managing regular finance activities for Micro Motion trading entities in Switzerland, Singapore & Japan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Here are your key responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning:

Collaborate with Sites and Segment finance teams to support monthly operating reviews, annual and long-range plans.Optimize and streamline financial processes at Division level to enhance efficiency.Prepare 3 years Strat financials and related schedules.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Consolidate financial data for the Micro-Motion division, including month-end, forecast, and strategic plan figures.Identify risks and opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and assess potential consequences.Prepare monthly financial packages, business unit reviews, and presentations for the President’s Operating Review.Managing Finance activities for Micro Motion trading entities in Switzerland, Singapore & Japan. Guiding team for monthly actual closure, forecast, etc.

Budget Coordination:

Coordinate divisional and functional budgets, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.Guiding team for Budgeting related exercise for Micro Motion entities in Switzerland, Singapore & Japan.Consolidate site budgets into division budget.

Revenue and Margin Tracking:

Monitor revenue and gross margin by business unit and product lines.Analyze trends and communicate insights to drive informed decision-making.

Standardization and Process Improvement:

Standardize reporting tools and templates across the Micro-Motion Division.Own the calendar of Micro-Motion deliverables to Segment / Corporate.

Strategic Projects and Financial Support:

Provide financial analysis and support for strategic initiatives, such as capital spend allocations, and cash flow projections.

Effective Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams from Business unit, Commercial and communicate financial expectations, timelines, and deliverables.Present monthly results to the Leadership Team.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company accounting policies.Conducting periodic Balance sheet review at Business units and reviewing major schedules on a Quarterly basis.

Transition Management:

Support the transition from HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) to OneStream, including reconciliation, reporting template development, and acting as a super-user for the division.

Education and Experience Requirements

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experienceCPA is preferred. Must have strong fundamental and adequate exposure to financial reporting under the US GAAP requirementsStrong manufacturing background with excellent analytical skills.Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, IF, VLOOKUP, etc.) & PPT user.ERP experience, preferably with Oracle.Familiarity with financial reporting systems such as HFM or OneStream.Strong organizational skills and an initiative-taking mindset.Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Travel

As required not to exceed 15%; may be required to travel internationally on occasion.
