The Global Head of Learning and Development leads both the operational and transformational aspects of learning across our organization, supporting strategic initiatives that drive positive change in our world.

Team
Our Global Learning and Development team consists of talented professionals from around the world through an innovative organizational structure. While unified under central leadership, our team members are strategically positioned across different regional and global business units.
Although all learning roles report up to this global lead role, some individuals are part of a regional or global business unit P&L yet receive their direction of work from Global Learning and Development leadership. This thoughtful structure enables us to drive consistent global learning initiatives while staying flexible enough to adapt to local cultures, regional needs, and diverse skill requirements.
Within the larger Global People Team, our vibrant team includes Learning Business Partners, Learning Administrators, Learning Curators, and Coaches located throughout various remote locations. What makes our global team special is the remarkable ability to connect with and support a diverse, worldwide community of learning professionals. This collaborative spirit helps us create meaningful impact across cultures and continents.
Deliverables
Onboarding – Work across the globe to help welcome new ERM new talent at every level in every role and bring new talent into the organization. Career progression – Lead the learning team to create and sustain innovative and continuously improving and exciting career stage learning so that individuals are ready to take on new roles as team leaders, as managers and leaders, as client relationship managers and in the many other exciting roles that people take on in their careers at ERM.Programs – Innovate with the learning team new ways to make learning of all kinds – from compliance to skills-based learning engaging and exciting, while ensuring that all ERMers are well prepared to be physically, mentally, legally and technologically equipped, engaged, and prepared for their roles in our modern world.Leadership – Role modelling is an important part of helping ERMs unique culture come to life. Working with the Learning teams around the work to develop our leaders through leadership preparation, facilitated sessions, small group interaction, external sessions and innovative curricula of all kinds and for all levels of leadership.Coaching – Own any internal and external coaching programs, ensuring they are engaging opportunities for people to work one on one with others and are improving in the determined areas for successful succession.Business Partnering Relationships – Work with internal and external partners in the delivery of ERMs learning agendas. Whether it is technology, Partner learning moments, vendor management or dozens of other partnerships, building relationships and managing partnerships is at the core of this role. This role interacts with key senior leaders for direction and feedback, as well as an Executive Sponsor and Steering Committee for guidance and support. Commercial – Work with global commercial leaders to continually diagnose, co-design and co-deliver learning solutions aligned to ever evolving business requirements. Learning Evaluation – Continually measure success and relevance of all learning deliverables and make appropriate changes, enhancements and corrections as needed.Background / Experience
10+ years in Learning function, with track record of building and implementing learning strategiesSuccessful business partnering skillsCreative and innovative in providing learning solutions for the businessExperience in successfully managing and controlling a budget of more than $2M, as well as seeking cost cutting improvements without sacrificing quality and serviceExperience Coaching Senior LeadersExperience building learning programs and evaluating impactSuccessfully experienced team leader of a virtual teamExperience with learning technology – ideally knowledge of LMS platforms e.g. Cornerstone, Workday LearningUnderstanding of ERM commercial expectations, KPIs and Contribution Statements for all levelsIdeally experience of working in professional services organisationsAttributes

ERM’s Learning Management System, (The Academy), providing access to learning programs to all ERMers globallyManagement of global L&D budget, ensuring delivery of cost-effective solutions, whether internally designed and delivered or through partnership with external vendorsManagement and development of global L&D team, bringing together regionally based colleagues to work towards aligned and consistent goals, building capability, appropriate organisation and processes, and ensuring engagement and retentionLearning technology – working with Business Excellence team and IT to ensure optimal learning processes and systems in placeMetrics, reporting and evaluation of learning, together with regular reporting on Learning and leadership MI which will help inform strategic decision makingDefinition and delivery of Learning and Leadership strategy that will enable ERM’s growth agenda, and encompass all aspects of capability build – e.g. technical, leadership, commercial, professional development, compliance etcAlignment with broader People Agenda, partnership with CoEs and Regional HRD activityBringing best practice and insights into ERM’s learning and leadership approach, ensuring ERM is providing agile, impactful, engaging, commercially oriented development solutionsEnsuring Business Partnering arrangement in place to work to diagnose, co-design and co-deliver learning solutions aligned to business requirementsWho We Are:
