The role
JLLT is seeking a Global Head of Products for Project and Development Services (PDS) who will be responsible for developing, launching, and managing best-in-class productized services differentiated with technology for the global PDS business. In response to JLL’s increasing focus on technology and product management, JLLT has developed robust capabilities and product development and lifecycle management processes to streamline, simplify, standardize, and scale productized services, increase client adoption with both new and existing accounts, focus investment efforts in high-growth opportunities, minimize wasted product spend, and increase profitability.
PDS transforms the spaces where people live, work and play, and realizes our client’s strategic goals beyond just completing their project on time and within budget. To effectively compete in an increasingly crowded and cost-conscious industry and counter the trend towards commoditization, JLL must bring its best to every client. As the Global Head of Products for PDS you will make this a reality consistently and at scale by leading the development and execution of an overarching product strategy and technology roadmap aligned with the global business growth strategy that:
· Strengthens PDS core services to drive greater competitive differentiation
· Scales and tailors PDS services to target growth in key verticals and geographies
· Focuses innovation in strategic areas aligned to the PDS growth strategy and market shaping-trends
What this job involves
We are seeking a proven leader who combines PDS domain expertise with commercial and technical acumen and can balance a customer centric, entrepreneurial, and analytical mindset with a collaborative leadership style to effectively productize a suite of PDS services across the globe and value chain, rationalize a fragmented technology ecosystem and vendor network, and build and manage a high performing team of Product Management professionals capable of getting things done in a complex global matrix undergoing transformational change.
As Global Head of Product for PDS you will:
· Create, execute, and continuously evaluate the product vision and technology roadmap that aligns with our global PDS business growth strategy, objectives, and goals.
· Manage the global JLLT budget for PDS, including resource planning, vendor management, and improving our cost to serve while meeting defined SLAs.
· Assess the current state of solutions and enabling technology ecosystem globally and by service line, identifying ways to transform existing solutions while evaluating innovative new solutions through the lens of build/buy/invest/partner.
· Drive a market-driven approach that connects core client pain points with outcomes and develops product features required to enable efficient and successful client delivery.
· Productize and package existing revenue generating regional PDS services to make them repeatable and globally scalable with standard operating procedures, and partner with Marketing to craft targeted demand generation campaigns to enter new markets and generate fast cycle revenue with minimal investment.
· Identify growth opportunities based on market intelligence, the competitive landscape, and technology trends, create business cases, and champion your vision to build organizational alignment across business & technology stakeholders.
· Own product requirements and specifications and drive with quality the product development schedule from design to release, including pilot programs, roll-out strategies, and sunsetting of existing products.
· Establish alignment on Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) to ensure products achieve their goals, including client adoption, NPS, and ROI.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, design, sales, marketing, client delivery and finance to deliver on the product roadmap and vision while allocating resources appropriately.
· Champion voice of customer; establishing one-to-many customer and partner forums for product feedback; engaging deeply and personally with customers, partners, and the field.
· Hire, develop & mentor strong product leaders to create a bench strength of product management expertise.
Requirements to thrive
· 10+ years in product management and/or working within a technology or business function to successfully deliver technology value to users and clients at scale.
· Domain expertise across PDS, including Consulting, Design, Build, and Project Management, with the ability to speak to business value.
· Strategic thinker and data-driven decision maker, capable of balancing PDS’s focus between long-term strategic choices and short-term marketplace dynamics to build competitive advantage and differentiation.
· Active listener and articulate communicator comfortable presenting to multiple and diverse stakeholders and forging strong relationships at all levels in an organization.
· Ability to effectively collaborate across functions and business lines, positively influencing, inspiring, and energizing coworkers by building trust and embracing ideas across cultures, geographies, and experiences.
· Demonstrated aptitude for creating product vision and technology roadmaps from conception to launch, with experience throughout the full product lifecycle, integrating business, customer, and user feedback pre- and post-launch.
· Ability to effectively structure, staff, and manage projects, budgets, and teams to ensure clarity of expectation, timely execution, corrective action when needed and successful outcomes.
· Structured approach to problem solving with a natural inclination for planning, strategy, and tactics, and the ability to cut down the complexity and work towards a simple solution and fast approach
· Entrepreneurial drive and achiever mentality - high performer with the ability to rapidly complete project initiatives and attain a multitude of team goals simultaneously and autonomously.
· High perseverance and resourcefulness, comfortable with ambiguity and constant change in direction/focus, experience leading through transformation
