What You'll Do
As an IT HR Configuration Engineer in BCG’s IT HR Systems Group you will have the responsibility for functional & technical updates to Workday, BCG's global HR application. This role has broad responsibility across the full BCG Workday HCM product area where responsibilities will range from configuration of BP’s, security, reporting, and other areas. You will work with the Core HR team as well as HR functional teams to support end user requirements and prepare and demonstrate functionality for the leadership team. Additionally, you will provide ongoing support on Workday ranging from enhancement requests, day to day operational activities, as well as keep key team members aware of new functionality and enhancements.
What You'll Bring
Experience in supporting technical needs for the HR domain and specifically, experience in Workday is requiredAbility to participate in design and configuration workshops for implementation projects as well as enhancement projectsCreate clear and comprehensive change documents for application modifications and new functionality additions, for WorkdayAnalyze and implement application configurationsDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high quality prior to deploymentExperience working with customers to gather requirements and translating them into system/technology requirements is a mustHistory of working with confidential data is preferredBachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in a technical support and/or software development role preferred.Experience supporting large corporate applications and systems. Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including debugging and analysis of performance issues.Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with users and provide a high level of customer service in a friendly, professional manner.Able to generate and analyze data and reports (Strong Excel & PowerPoint Experience).Experience in a Global environment preferred.Who You'll Work With
